Two days, two separate occasions. The first one, with the sun just below the horizon, casting that everlasting light in the northern Swedish summer night. Blue, colder hues, mosquitos buzzing in the still of the late evening. I think the time was about 11 pm for the first shots.
Day two, one more session, but this time with the sun still blazing it’s last rays above the line of trees over the water with that mesmerising glow. It creates the best natural light source for this kind of portraits and I’m loving every minute of it. Buttery soft warm light on Ellens beautiful face. 10 pm at night, fast photographs, fast, and then the light is gone.
