The past few weeks have been hot, hot, hot here in Singapore, with a scorching sun blazing down in the humid tropical weather. It has been the kind of weather where even the shade feels like stepping into a steamy hot shower room. But that doesn’t stop me from shooting outdoors and I had a wonderful, albeit sweaty time photographing Mei-Lin and Jon together with their lovely bunch of kids on this hot Tuesday. An hour before sunset when the sunlight becomes golden and the slight breeze by the water gives some relief is the perfect time to gather the family at the beach for a photo session, which is what Mei-Lin and Jon did.

I’m extra happy to blog this family session now because Mei-Lin is picking up her beautiful prints today. I love knowing that these photos will go up on their wall and remind them every day for years and years of this time in their lives, with this newfound happiness and a bright feature ahead.
