Singapore – a first visit
Sometimes life takes an unexpected turn. Even if this has been a dream of mine for a long time, I never would have dared to imagine just four short months ago that this dream would actually come true. But the contracts are signed and the relocation is on it’s way. In the end of July we will be leaving Sweden and relocating to Singapore. My business and my cameras are coming with me. Our summers will be spent in Sweden as usual but the Swedish cold, dark autumns, the icy freezing winters and the wet soggy springs will be switched to a tropical 30 C heat in Singapore. For how long? As long as we want to and feel happy. At this moment we have no plans regarding if or when we would move back to Sweden. We choose to live in the moment and take the days as they may come. If we like it, we’ll stay, and if we don’t, then we’ll just move back home. Sweden will still be there.
David and I have just arrived home from our first ever visit to Singapore. It was hot, fabulous, clean, wonderful and spectacular. Sure, we are in the honeymoon phase, but our intense week in Singapore has given us endorphin highs of unimaginable levels when it comes to quality of life.
Sometimes life doesn’t turn out like we plan. Sometimes it gets a whole lot better.
